Many would have you believe that Nicolaus Copernicus was a rigidly scientific minded person who rebelled against the papacy to shed light on the truth about our earth and its relation to the sun. However, what they don't realize is, to the contrary, Copernicus, like many in the the upper echelons of the catholic church and the 'noble' families of that day, were very much interested in the esoteric traditions of the mystery school religion rather than the biblical account, as proclaimed publicly by the vatican. In fact, the sun centred hypothesis was sparked by the writings of Hermes Trismegistus, according the the book "The Forbidden Universe - The Occult Origins of Science and the Search for the Mind of God" by Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince. You must admit, it's quite interesting. The religion of the pagan world , which is often referred to in the bible, as an opposing and false religion, centred around the concept of the sun God deity. And then, the religion of our day that seems to be obssessed with the Sun worship cult, has one of its own, namely Nicolaus Copernicus, bring forth an ideology that tries to replace the geocentric position of the biblcal creation account. Worth looking into.
